I know it's a $100 rod but I expected better from Falcon.Ĭomments: I recently purchased my second 7 ft "casting" version. I wasn't whipping it but I wasn't soft tossing it either. About 7-8 trips in the rod snapped on the cast with a 1/2 bait. just avoid these.Ĭomments: Got the rod with the intention of punching mats this summer, I've thrown an A rig on it and a hudd 68 so far and it handled both wonderfully.Ĭomments: I had the 7'4 Heavy Swimjig rod. Have broken them just casting a light bait or fighting a 12" fish. These Bucoos on the other hand tend to snap like twigs.
